"A Latin word exists to designate this wound this mark made by a pointed instrument: the word suits me because it also refers to punctuation, and because the photographs I am speaking of are in effect punctuated, sometimes even speckled with these sensitive points, precisely, these marks, these wounds are so many points... punctum is also: sting, speck, cut, little hole- and also cast of the dice. A photograph's punctum is that accident which pricks me (but also bruises me, is poignant to me). "

are these your balloons already?
Oh no, my balloons are 2 years away.
This was just something I stumbled upon. It seemed to be a sort of kinder gentler version of critical mass. The balloons went on for several blocks.
a good omen then it would seem.
